Norwegian Airlines is one of the low-cost trans-Atlantic carriers which are an increasing presence in the US-Europe route market. The airline also has a lot of low-cost intra-Europe flights.
So the price on Norwegian airlines is incredibly low, but the months of availability (January and February, 2017) are really bad.
But there is hope! When you arrive in Oslo, you can take one of Europe’s ultra-low-cost carriers to a more desirable, more warm destination, like Athens, Barcelona or Rome.
Or, if you like the cold weather, you can head to Munich, London, Paris or Madrid.
Norwegian is offering $175 o/w service from JFK and LAX to Paris, for travel in September and October 2016.
It should come as no surprise if we learn that American/Delta/United are worried about Norwegian’s very low trans-Atlantic fares.
